Here we are, our last week of school before Christmas! This is going to be one busy week!
Congratulations to Dannie for being our orange card winner of the week!
Please remember to send in a gift by this Tuesday, December 17 for our gift exchange. The girls should bring in a girl gift and the boys should bring in a boy gift. The price limit is 5 dollars.
We are going to finish our Math unit on elapsed time this week. After Christmas we will begin working on money. Please have your children practice multiplication facts over the Christmas break. Many of the students are doing a great job of learning them!
We will be finishing up our science and social studies units after Christmas. We are currently studying the Kwakiutl Indians in social studies and the food chain and adaptations in science.
We will continue to work on writing our five paragraph essay this week. We are going to be doing a lot of writing after Christmas.
We will be reading the last story in our reading unit and the last story in book 1 of our reading series. The students will take a unit test when we return from Christmas and then begin the stories on book 2.
Our Christmas party will be held on Thursday, December 19 at 2:30. Please let me know if you have not received a reminder from me if you are providing treats for the party.
Our PBIS good behavior reward party will be this week, as well as our holiday movie, and Art and Music Christmas parties. This will be a week full of fun, laughter, and excitement!
